I bought a train ticket from Burgos to Irun for Sept 5. My plan is to do some of the more beautiful stretches of the Camino Norte route now in September while the weather is still good on the coast and avoid the heat of the Meseta between Burgos and Leon. In Oct I can come back to Burgos to cross the Meseta and finish in Compestello.
