Another example how peregrinos help each other out on the Camino. This morning as I was getting ready my backpack in the dark, I forgot my shoe! (I walked in sandals today). Monique saw the shoe wedge beside the bed and thought of me. That is the benefit of being an American, the only peregrino walking in bright red running shoes. She lugged it with her 27km today! I am filled with a ton of gratitude.
