No one I have seen on the Camino uses a dryer! That includes both peregrinos and locals. The locals may use a washer, but drying is done on a line. Even at the albergue, like at Ernesto's, there might be a dryer there for 3Euro. But to my surprise, no one used it. My conclusion was that people here are just in the habit of using a clothes line. Whereas back in the U.S. we are in a habit of using a dryer. I am sure there are other reasons.
