I got a room with Tomme. We were the only two gringos on the plane. Neither of our backpacks made it. We got a room in Guayaquil at the 'ninth of October hotel' for $8 each. Guayaquil is very raw. No jewelry like wrist watches allowed for fear someone rip your hand off to get it.
